Tips to be offered in segment for Wheeling's Chili Cookoff

WHEELING, W.Va.-- Head Chili Judge Brian Warmuth, Charlie Schlegel of the Ye Olde Alpha and Cilantros and West Liberty University have teamed up to present a how-to program for anyone interested in competing in the Wheeling Feeling Chili Cookoff. On Wednesday, Warmuth and Schlegel filmed a cooking segment for WLUTV-14 called "Concert in the Kitchen." The show will feature recipes and tips for making competition-style red chili and salsa.

Las Vegas Selected as Destination for the Third Annual World Food Championships

The World Food Championships (WFC) and Las Vegas announced an extension of their partnership that will fuse the culinary competition’s integration with the top epicurean destination in the world. The World Food Championships are slated to once again take over the Fremont Street Experience and downtown Las Vegas, Nov. 12-18, where more than 500 competitors will test their cooking skills to claim bragging rights and huge cash prizes at the ultimate culinary showdown.

Weeknight Dinner: Spicy Chicken l'Orange Burgers with Asian Slaw

By: Dani Time to get saucy!  Yes, it’s that time!  Saucy Mama is having another recipe contest and I was thrilled when they picked me to be one of their 25 blogger participants.  Especially because you could win $1,000.  But even more than that, you gain entry into the World Food Championships which I hear from everyone was THE coolest cooking contest in the land last year.   So when the sauces came my way, I spent a few days deliberating what to make.  Just a few though because the package was delivered and picked up by our super who forgot about it and we ran around looking for it for like 3 days.  Finally found it and started tasting.
