WFC Announces Partnership With Former NFL Champion

The food sport industry continues to grow stronger as the World Food Championships (WFC) announced today a new partnership with former New England Patriot defensive end Jarvis Green. As an Official Food Sport partner, Green will be introducing his newest food tech app and will host a meet and greet during the 9th Annual Ultimate Food Fest, which will be held at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, Nov. 5-9.

WFC Announces 2022 Biscuits And Jampionship Qualifier

The year of the pandemic may have left a sour taste in most mouths, but not for food sport fanatics. That’s because one of the World Food Championships’ (WFC) sponsors, The Jelly Queens, sweetened 2020 by holding a biscuits, pickles and jam recipe challenge. After an overwhelming response, THE Jelly Queen herself, Donna Collins, has already decided to set her sights and taste buds on 2022. She and organizers of WFC just announced an official search for the best, healthiest jelly/jam recipe through a new contest – The Pyure Challenge –– that’s officially open for submissions and closes this Summer, 2021.

The leader in Food Sport announced today that it is partnering with Warrior Rising, a national organization that empowers and supports veterans who want to become entrepreneurs or go into business after they serve. World Food Championships Qualifies First-Ever Team Lake Murray Country

The World Food Championships (WFC) just completed the South Carolina Super Regional Qualifier and selected numerous local chefs to make up the first-ever “Team Lake Murray Country,” a competitive culinary team that will now represent the Palmetto State at the 9th Annual Ultimate Food Fight, scheduled for Nov. 5-9 in Dallas, Texas.

WFC Announces New Barbecue Alliance for 2021 Event

Throughout the history of the World Food Championships (WFC), its Barbecue Championship has always been a key category due to its long history in competition food at both the national and international levels. Additionally, WFC’s event coordinators are constantly reviewing the barbecue arena to assess and integrate the latest trends into its competition process. As the most recent example of this, WFC just announced a partnership with the new barbecue sanctioning body, Champions Barbecue Alliance (CBA) –– which was founded by several pitmasters including former WFC Barbecue Champion Fred Robles.
