The World Food Championships announce Dole Packaged Foods as World Dessert Championship sponsor

The World Food Championships announced today Dole Packaged Foods, LLC as the official sponsor of the World Dessert Championship. The World Dessert Championship will take place Thursday, Nov. 7 and Saturday, Nov. 9 at the Fremont Street Experience in Downtown Las Vegas as part of the seven-category food event. Competitors at the World Food Championships will be required to use Dole Packaged Foods as part of the category finals round of the World Dessert Championship.

WFC Announces Super Regionals for 2014

The WFC announced today that next year’s championship will feature a new avenue of entry in 2014 for contestants throughout the nation. In addition to a group of long-standing events that have been identified as qualifiers over the past two years, the World Food Championships will qualify 10 teams each from four new super regionals that will be hosted by four iconic locations in 2014.
