Bryan resident Tammy loves to cook. She's combined her father's favorite desserts - pecan pie and cheesecake - for an award-worthy treat.

Tammy's "Pecan Pie Cheesecake" recipe has made it to the finals of the World Food Championships. She's currently sharpening her skills at the Village Café so she can get used to cooking in a kitchen that's not her own.

She's also selling pies to fund her trip to Las Vegas.
