#FoodChamp Challenge calls for sandwich entries

The June #FoodChamp Challenge is officially on and it's all about the Sandwich! If you think you've got the know-how for the tastiest combo between two slices, submit your sandwich recipe (or recipes) to the #FoodChamp Challenge. The June submission period ends 06/27. Don't miss your opportunity to take your sandwich-stylin' skills to Las Vegas and compete for the ultimate World Food Champ title.

Local barbecue winner will qualify for world champs

MARION — The World Food Championships has announced that the Southern Pride Invitational will be an automatic qualifying event to its second annual culinary competition in Las Vegas. At the conclusion of the Southern Pride Invitational, which is June 14-16 at Black Diamond Harley Davidson in Marion, the grand champion will be presented with the official golden ticket invitation to compete at the World Food Championships this fall.
