Q: Tell us about your culinary journey. Who or what inspired you to cook?
A: I'm a dedicated culinary professional with diverse experience in high-volume kitchen environments. I am currently a Culinary Creative for the Umoja Food Group where I collaborate on menu creations and oversee offsite events. My background includes Chef roles at Bar Moro, Baileys Restaurants, Casa don Alfonso at the Ritz-Carlton St. Louis, and Sushi Chef at Drunken Fish; excelling in food production, quality control and team development. I am passionate about refining my craft and value teamwork, consistently striving for excellence with every dish.

A: 7 years

A: First time

A: Chef

Q: What motivated you to get into Food Sport?
A: Meeting insanely talented chefs from all over the world that share my unique passion.

Q: How would you describe your experience in Indianapolis at WFC 2024 and being named a Champion?
A: Breathing and taking it all in, it was very relaxing knowing that all the hard work my team and me put forth paid off.

Q: What is your favorite WFC memory/experience as a competitor?
A: Getting to the competition ahead of time just to cheer Chef Jack Mac to victory!

Q: What would a Final Table victory mean to you? Any ideas on how you would spend/invest your winnings?
A: It would mean that I’m able to serve, care for, and share my passion with more of the world.

Q: Any advice for folks considering entering the WFC Kitchen Arena in the future?
A: Smooth is fast, and fast is smooth. Never give up!

Q: Tell us an interesting fact that few people know about you:
A: I grew up cooking with my mother for an entire church on Sunday evenings to bring the family together before my mid-90's grandmother passed.
