World Food Championships Launches First Taste of America Online Recipe Contest of 2025

INDIANAPOLIS, IN [February 10, 2025] – The World Food Championships (WFC), the largest food sport competition in the world, is excited to announce the launch of its first Taste of America Challenge for 2025. This online recipe contest, elevated with Marcel’s Modern Pantry, opens on February 11 at 12:01 AM CST, offering passionate home cooks and professional chefs alike the chance to win a coveted Golden Ticket to compete at the World Food Championships in the Fall of 2025.

This contest is an extension of WFC’s ongoing partnership with Diversified Foods, Inc., the parent company of Marcel’s Modern Pantry. Known for its premium culinary ingredients, Marcel’s Modern Pantry provides innovative products that inspire creativity and elevate everyday cooking—making it the perfect partner for this exciting culinary challenge.

“The Taste of America Challenge has always been one of our most exciting and accessible qualifiers, allowing competitors from all corners of the country to showcase their culinary creativity,” said Mike McCloud, Founder of the World Food Championships. “With Marcel’s Modern Pantry bringing their unique, high-quality products to the table, we’re raising the stakes and flavor profiles even higher. We can’t wait to see the innovative dishes our competitors create this year.”

The Taste of America Challenge invites participants to craft a signature dish that features one or more products from Marcel’s Modern Pantry (Whole Milk, 2% Milk, 1% Milk, 1% Chocolate Milk, Oat Milk, Sweetened Almond Milk, and Original Almond Milk). Competitors will submit their original recipes online for judging, with top-scoring entries earning a Golden Ticket to compete in one of WFC’s championship categories this fall.

Key Details:

  • Contest Period: February 11, 2025 (12:01 AM CST) - February 24, 2025 (11:59 PM CST)
  • How to Enter: Participants must create an original recipe featuring Marcel’s Modern Pantry products and submit it online with a photo of the dish via the link provided on the official WFC website.
  • Prizes: Winners will receive a Golden Ticket to the 2025 World Food Championships, where they will compete for a share of $450,000 in cash and prizes.

This activation builds on WFC’s successful partnership with Diversified Foods, Inc., which was previously highlighted in the 2024 Dessert Category in Indianapolis. Now, with Marcel’s Modern Pantry playing a central role in the Taste of America Challenge, WFC is excited to bring even more opportunities for culinary excellence to aspiring champions across the country.
