WFC Announces Tickets on Sale for November Championships in Indianapolis

Posted Aug 1, 2024Indianapolis, IN – (July 31, 2024) – The World Food Championships (WFC), the world’s largest
Food Sport competition focused on everyday cooking categories, announced today that tickets
are officially on-sale and available for purchase online. This year’s competition will be hosted at
the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center
from November 8-12, where more than 300 competitive cooking teams from around the globe
will battle it out in 12 categories for the coveted title of World Food Champion and share of the
$450,000 prize purse. Ten (10) percent of all specialty ticket revenue will be donated to Gleaners
Food Bank of Indiana to support local residents facing hunger and food insecurity.
Spectators can expect various activities and experiences to satisfy food enthusiasts of all ages.
Attendees will have the opportunity to taste samples from more than 30 vendors, watch live
cooking demonstrations by celebrity chefs and participate in engaging food-related games such
as "Cake or Fake". The event will also feature a Tyson Tailgate area, BBQ activation featuring
35+ teams, and a kids zone. Gates will be open from 9 AM - 5 PM, with free admission before
10 AM on Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9 and free admission all day Tuesday, Nov. 12 for
the finals and awards ceremony. Awards ceremony will be held from 6 - 8 PM.
General Admission Tickets are now available for purchase:
- Online Pre-sale Ticket: $15
- Online Pre-sale Weekend Ticket: $25 (Pre-sale ends Thursday, Nov. 7)
- Children 5 and Under: Free
- Monday, Nov. 11: Free Admission for Veterans and Active Military
- Tuesday, Nov. 12: Free Admission all day to watch the competition finals and awards ceremony from 6 - 8 PM
- Onsite Single Day Ticket: $25
- Onsite Saturday and Sunday Ticket: $45
- Taste of World Food Championships: A Champion-inspired Experience: Hosted by Eric Greenspan, celebrity chef, this unique experience offers a delicious assortment of global dishes crafted by former WFC champions. Each ticket includes a passport to sample bites from 12 category stations and five drink samples from award-winning mixologists. Available on Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM - 4 PM, attendees can meet former champions, witness culinary demonstrations and receive special prizes, including a curated gift bag of WFC and partner products. Single day Passport tickets (12 category samples + five drink samples) are $125 and two-day Passport tickets (12 category samples + five drink samples per day) are $225.
- The World Food Championships VIP Experience: For those seeking an exclusive experience, the VIP area offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle of Kitchen Arena. VIP ticket holders will enjoy various food and drink samples, access to mixology demonstrations, meet and greets with celebrity chefs and a commemorative 2024 WFC Indianapolis print. This exclusive experience is available Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Single day entry tickets are $175, two-day entry tickets are $325 and tickets for all three days are $450.
