Taste of Canada Winners Announced

The World Food Championships announced today the winners of Taste of Canada online qualifier. The qualifier sparked a ton of interest from the Canadian Food Sport community submitting some truly outstanding culinary creations. And now the anticipation is finally over and the results are in!

Here are the Top Three winners in each Provinces:

Alberta

1st Place: Rohan Borhade -- Colours of Blush (Star Anise strawberry jelly, Mascarpone Strawberry mousse with Spinach cake and brûlée strawberries

2nd Place: Shannon Minor -- Pimento Popper Fried Chicken Sandwich

3rd Place: Kali Wells -- Custard Filled Cinnamon Roll White Cake

Manitoba

1st Place: Jaylene Kewley -- Chocolate Cherry cola Rib eye with Jalapeño honey veggies

2nd Place: Robert Kewley-- Grilled Maple bacon onion blossom with bacon honey dill sauce

3rd Place: Gord Meneer -- Smokey Lake Steak

Ontario

1st Place: Christopher Mask -- Lobster Garden

2nd Place: Ashley Seely - Handmade Burrata Stuffed with Lobster in Vanilla and Scotch Scented Cream

3rd Place: Luzviminda Gunter-Smith-- Choco-Orange Pots
