WFC and Bo Jackson Launch the All-American Burger Battle

The World Food Championships announced today that Bo’s Burger, the 2018 presenting sponsor of the Burger Championship, will be providing Food Champs a chance to capture one of the few remaining Golden Tickets for this year’s main event through a new online recipe contest.

Bo's All-American Burger Battle contest started June 29 and ends July 9 at 11:59 PM CDT. Contestants can submit ANY burger recipe (with photo) for a chance to claim a Golden Ticket to the 2018 Ultimate Food Fight in November at the Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama.

In addition to earning one of the last spots in the tournament, the champion of this online contest will have the opportunity to meet and talk all things burger with Bo Jackson, a former  Heisman Trophy winner and two-sport, major league all star. Included in the Grand Prize winner package is a $500 travel stipend.

“This is one of the last chances Food Champs will have to earn their way into the 2018 competition,” said Mike McCloud, President/CEO of WFC. “We are so happy we have partners like Bo’s Burgers to help give our contestants more opportunities to qualify for the main event.”

The contest will also feature an exclusive bonus giveaway for a chance to snag some of Bo’s signature line of burgers. For a chance to win the bonus, contestants must take a photo with their local grocer’s Frozen Meat Manager and upload the photo to Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #IWANTBOSBURGERS.
