WFC Announces Dates For Food Champ Classes in 2018


ORANGE BEACH, Ala. (Nov. 14, 2017) — The dust has barely settled from WFC’s epic 6th Anniversary event, but the WFC Committee is already hard at work. Thanks to the incredible growth of #WFC2017 and expansion plans for WFC franchising and state qualifiers in 2018, WFC announced today the dates and locations for the 2018 Food Champ Judge Classes that will be held in the first quarter.

All WFC Judges are required to be E.A.T. certified in order to participate as a Qualifier or Championship judge.

The 2018 Judging Class Locations (for Q1)

  • Phoenix - January 21

  • Scottsdale - January 22

  • San Diego - Feb 4

  • San Francisco - Feb 5

  • Ft. Lauderdale - Feb 18

  • Miami - Feb 19

  • San Antonio - March 18

  • Houston - March 19

  • Port Aransas - March 20

About the World Food Championships

The World Food Championships ( features up to 500 culinary champions seeking food fame and fortune. The sixth annual event, which just finished at The Wharf in Orange Beach, Alabama, crowned 10 category championships with more than $200,000 in cash and prizes. The Top 10 performers in the field will now move on to a high-stakes Final Table event in April for the ultimate bragging rights and a $100,000 prize purse.
