Chef Works Adds Culinary Style to WFC 2017 Category Winners

One of World Food Championships’ long-standing partners, Chef Works, is sweetening the prize pot for this year’s cooking competition by expanding its role as the official apparel partner of the event. Chef Works will be providing customized World Food Championships chef’s coats to all ten category champions at this year’s event.

“Chef Works creates some of the most outstanding apparel in the culinary industry, and we are delighted to have them as a long-term partner,” commented Mike McCloud, President and CEO of World Food Championships. “Since their professional chef coats have always been a treasured product with our competitors, we are excited to see them offering custom versions to our champions this year.”

“We feel it is important to support up-and- coming culinary talents across multiple fields. From professional chefs to avid home cooks, we’re proud to provide not only personalized wares to the well-deserved winners but an opportunity to purchase Chef Works apparel as well,” says Neil Gross, CEO of Chef Works. “We hope to further expand upon this relationship in the coming years, and are looking forward to rewarding all the hard-working chefs.”

All ten winners will receive a personalized Chef Works Gramercy jacket at the culmination of the competition. Alongside the World Food Championships logo, embroidery will include the winner’s name and competition category. As part of the partnership, competitors will have the option to purchase a World Food Competition-embroidered coat, which can be worn during the competition. Competitors will have the option to test out the jackets during a complimentary headshot photo session before the event kicks off.

As the official coat of the World Food Championships, the Gramercy style is one of Chef Works’ bestselling jackets, crafted in lightweight cotton denim that seamlessly blends style and durability. More details can be found by visiting chefworks.com.

Through this unique partnership, World Food Championships will offer Chef Works apparel at a discounted rate for competitors. The online shop, accessible solely to those participating in the events, will feature chef jackets, aprons, and button-up shirts in a variety of different washes, fits, and hues. The full line-up is available at chefworks.com/wfc.
