The time is WRIGHT now! For this month’s #FoodChamp online recipe contest, we asked you to create a unique recipe featuring Wright Brand Bacon.

With numerous “sizziling” submissions, the judges had a very difficult decision to make! A special thank you to those judges, Emily Ellyn, the Retro Rad Chef, Dave Elliott, the 2013 World Food Champion, and Ashley Zulpo, Wright Brand Bacon Culinary Team Member, for taking the time to review the recipes!

Without further adieu, these were the recipes that were done “WRIGHT!”

The winning recipe is………… Bacon Fried Tomatillos Stacks with Bacony Crab Cakes & Bacon Slaw by Sherri Williams!

Congratulations Sherri! With your winning recipe, you will receive a Golden Ticket to compete in the 2015 Bacon World Championship, a waived registration fee and a travel stipend!

We would also like to congratulate the following entires as runners-up in the Wright Brand online recipe contest. The four runners-up will receive a Golden Ticket (invitation) to compete in the 2015 Bacon World Championship. The runners-up are as follows:
