Burger Royalty Returns: Legacy Maker Signs On for Another Year of World Food Championship Flavor

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – (August 29, 2025) – The World Food Championships (WFC) is proud to announce the return of Legacy Maker as the Presenting Sponsor of the Burger Category for its 2025 Main Event, scheduled for October 16–19 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

Known for their exceptional commitment to premium beef and sustainable practices, Legacy Maker will once again provide competitors with a flavorful opportunity to showcase their burger mastery. During the Opening Round, competitors will have the option to use Legacy Maker products to help elevate their recipes and flavor profiles. For the Final Round, Legacy Maker’s Signature Blend Prime will be the required protein, challenging the world’s best burger chefs to create a show-stopping bite worthy of the WFC Burger crown.

This marks the second year of collaboration between WFC and Legacy Maker, a partnership that continues to spotlight the importance of high-quality beef in competitive cooking and everyday meals alike. Legacy Maker remains committed to sustainability, operating on a 100% sustainable Indiana farm that contributes electricity to the grid and generates renewable natural gas. The farm’s groundbreaking efforts work towards a carbon-neutral beef production model, making Legacy Maker not just a culinary leader but a pioneer in environmentally conscious farming practices.

Legacy Maker represents everything we love about Food Sport; passion, quality, and a commitment to excellence,” said Mike McCloud, Founder of World Food Championships. “Their Signature Blend Prime has become a game-changer in the final round of our Burger Category, and we’re excited to continue giving our competitors access to such a premium product in 2025.”

With thousands of competitors attempting to qualify annually, the Burger Category is consistently one of the most popular and fiercely contested divisions at WFC. Last year’s winner, Hassan Naja from the United Arab Emirates, earned a spot at WFC’s Final Table after walking away with the 2024 championship.
