WFC Unveils Tournament Infusions for 2025 Main Event

INDIANAPOLIS, IN  (August 25, 2025) – At the World Food Championships (WFC), the Final Round is where champions are truly made. Competitors who advance to the ultimate stage must showcase not only their creativity and culinary skill, but also their adaptability as they face WFC’s signature curveball: Tournament Infusions.

For 2025, the Final Round will once again challenge chefs with three key elements:

  1. A Chef’s Choice dish, showcasing their personal style.

  2. A Required Ingredient—selected from this year’s outstanding lineup of partner products including Sam’s Club, Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que of America, Legacy Maker, Hard Truth Whiskey, Bolner’s Fiesta Products, and Besto Pesto.

  3. A Mystery Ingredient, revealed at the Cooks’ Meeting just before the Final Round begins.

Both the required and mystery ingredients must take center stage on every plate, as judges look for bold flavors, innovative techniques, and masterful execution.

The 2025 WFC will take place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center, with Opening Rounds scheduled for October 16-17 and the Final Round for each category set for October 19.

With this year’s elevated Tournament Infusions and a global field of talented chefs, the stage is set for an unforgettable showdown in Indianapolis.
