World Food Championships Partners with Diversified Foods to Elevate 2024 Dessert Category

Indianapolis, IN – (September 4, 2024) – The World Food Championships (WFC), the world’s largest food sport competition spotlighting everyday cooking categories, is thrilled to announce Diversified Foods, Inc. (DFI) as an Official Partner in Kitchen Arena for this year's event. The competition will be held from November 8-12 at the Indiana Farm Bureau Fall Creek Pavilion, located at the Indiana State Fairgrounds & Event Center in Indianapolis. DFI, returning as a partner in 2024, brings a rich legacy of quality and innovation to the culinary arena, enhancing the competition with their premium dairy products.

As part of this exciting partnership, Diversified Foods will supply their nutritious and convenient shelf-stable dairy products, including Whipping Cream, Buttermilk, and Half & Half, as the Dessert Category Sponsor of the competition. Competitors in the Dessert Final Round will be challenged to incorporate one of these DFI products as a mandatory ingredient, showcasing their creativity and culinary skills. Additionally, DFI's products will be optional inclusions for the first round of competition and will be available in the main pantry, allowing all competitors to integrate these high-quality ingredients into their culinary masterpieces.

Diversified Foods, Inc. is a family-owned and operated business headquartered in the New Orleans, LA area. With roots dating back to 1948, the company has evolved from a rice trading and export business to a leader in the global food industry. Today, under the leadership of the Damiens family, DFI offers a wide range of dairy products that have become staples in households across the United States and beyond. Their Pantry Fresh™, shelf-stable milk, known for its ability to stay fresh for up to 12 months without refrigeration, exemplifies their commitment to convenience and quality.

"We are delighted to have Diversified Foods return to the World Food Championships family this year," said Mike McCloud, Founder of World Food Championships. "Their dedication to quality and innovation aligns perfectly with the spirit of our competition. The inclusion of DFI's dairy products in the Dessert Category will add an exciting layer of creativity for our competitors, and I’m eager to see the delectable results on display in Indianapolis."
