I’ve lived in the UAE for the last 20 years and call this vibrant place home, where my culinary journey truly began. However, my love for cooking began much earlier, when I was 13, in my grandmother’s kitchen. It was there that I first learned the joys of preparing food and discovered the stories behind each dish. My grandmother instilled in me a philosophy I carry with me today: money can buy happiness, but not soul satisfaction—and for me, nothing provides that satisfaction like a beautifully crafted, flavorful dish. As a home chef, I’m passionate about reimagining traditional recipes through a modern lens, blending flavors and techniques to create unique and visually stunning plates. Over the years, I’ve honed my skills through workshops and culinary events in Dubai, always expanding my repertoire and embracing new challenges. Last year, I won the Grandma’s Secret Recipe competition by the USDA, which awarded me a culinary trip to California. As a founding member of the My Food Story USA Global Guild, I am dedicated to fostering love for food, culture, and community through my culinary creations. When I’m not in the kitchen, I love exploring supermarkets and farmers' markets for fresh, unique ingredients that inspire my fusion creations. My journey from teacher to culinary enthusiast is a testament to my belief that passion can lead to unexpected and rewarding paths—ones that are fueled by creativity, connection, and a love for great food.
