COMPETITION: World Sandwich Championship
We are husband and wife teams who have been married for a little over a year. We met on myspace and initially I did not respond to Dennis because he had a cowboy hat on and pictures of BBQ on his page. My friends accepted his request for me stating, “that’s good BBQ”. We started competing together as the Porketeers and are now making BBQ history. One of our favorite stories is how we slept on the streets in Tijuana for a BBQ competition, had Mexican Super fans, and walked away with a first place in Brisket.
