Chef Jesse Vega I have over 4 decades of culinary experience, I am a proud Kansas City Chef, Pro Start Educator and regional food competitor. My specialty is American Italian cuisine, I am an experienced butcher and award winning ice cream maker. I have traveled 48 US States cooking in every major expo hall and convention center in the USA. As Chairman of the Greater Kansas City Chefs Association I am dedicated to mentoring the next generation of chef's and hospitality professionals! I am thrilled to be competing in this years World Food Championships - I will definitely push my talents to create exciting bold flavors and give the crowd my best possible performance! I have deep respect for the training I have received from my culinary mentors and I will passionately honor my Mexican American Heritage throughout the competition.
