Hey y’all, I’m Jasmine Ramsey, better known as Chef Ramsey, the owner and executive chef of Jazz It Up Soul Food—where bold Cajun flavors meet soulful cooking. Born and raised in Covington, Louisiana, I grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of Southern cuisine, and now I bring that same fire to my private catering company, known for our Best-Selling Cajun Seasoning and Flavorful Voodoo Hot Sauce. I don’t just cook—I create experiences. Whether I’m whipping up a custom dining experience, competing at the World Food Championships, or crafting the perfect blend of spice, my mission is simple: to bring people together through unapologetically bold, deeply flavorful food. When I’m not in the kitchen, you can find me gliding across the rink at my local skating spot, belting out tunes at my favorite karaoke joints, or unwinding with a good book on a peaceful lakeside picnic. Life is all about balance—good food, good vibes, and a little bit of fun along the way!
