A native of Springfield, MO, I discovered my love of cooking while working at a fast-food Chinese restaurant in high school. Owning Thacker Mountain BBQ Supply has provided me with valuable insights into the world of barbecue and cooking. Collaborating with renowned pit masters at various events has undoubtedly expanded my culinary horizons and has allowed me to exchange ideas and techniques with some of the best in the business. I’m always thrilled to experiment with new recipes and create unique dishes that satisfy all taste buds. Cooking is both a skill learned as well as my form of art and expression. My love for cooking, both meat-centric and vegetarian, has driven me to compete in various food sport competitions. I’m proud of my achievements in the field of Food Sport. Oh, and I am known for trying to add cheese to a dish. I'm still trying to figure out how to add it to a whole hog!
