I come from a blue-collar, hardworking background, with my father and grandfather both having served our country, providing me with the opportunities I cherish today. Throughout my life, I've engaged in various hands-on professions, including ironworking, bike building, mechanics, auto body work, and millwrighting. As my wife and I made the decision to bring my parents into our home to care for them in their golden years, as my brother took on this responsibility we re-kindled our bond through cooking competitions and caring for our parents. These events brought immense joy to our mother while she was with us, and her recent passing has inspired us to honor her memory. I believe she is looking down on us with pride. Cooking is a deep-rooted passion in my family's heritage, and as I take care of my parents, I've realized it's time to fully embrace what I love. I am committed to channeling my energy into this culinary journey, celebrating the legacy of my family while creating new memories through food.
