I grew up on the coast of Mississippi where African, European, Indigenous, and later East Asian foods all grew together into one cuisine, and that got me hooked on cooking as a creative outlet. Learning more about it, I dropped everything in my life to start washing dishes, and ultimately worked my way up to Chef.
