COMPETITION: World Vegetarian Championship
I have worked in the field of culinary arts throughout coastal south Mississippi for the past 27years and have honed my skills at many establishments during that time. I am now the Head Chef at the Dockside Deli at the Island View Casino specializing in Creole-Cajun and Southern cuisine focusing on fresh soups, salads, sandwiches, and seafood. Over the years I have won several competitions for my talent in cooking, fruit/vegetable carving, and ice sculpting. In May 2023, I competed in the Mississippi seafood competition and won the title of Mississippi King of Seafood. I have served as Sous Chef to Chef David Crabtree at the WFC in the seafood category placing 3rd in 2018 and 4th in 2019. Most recent, I placed 14th in soup category in 2021 and 4th place in vegetarian category 2022 as a Head Chef. I am very passionate about food and love to come up with new dishes for people to enjoy.
