COMPETITION: World Invitational Steak Championship - SCA
Lisa Kruger-Tangeman hails from the town of Saraland, just north of Mobile, AL. Born and raised in a small town in Northwest Iowa, she got her culinary start in Home Economics class by nearly burning down the high school her freshman year after she inadvertently locked her chicken in the oven on the autoclean cycle. (SERIOUSLY!!) Since then her skills have improved tremendously, netting her multiple SCA top 10's in both Steak and Ancillary, as well as a Golden Ticket to last year's SCA World Finals in Ft. Worth. Together with her husband Matthew, they compete on the KCBS and SCA circuits as A Guy, A Girl, and His Meat, and are owner/operators of A Guy, A Girl, and Their Meat Wagon foodtruck. This is her first WFC appearance, after qualifying during the August in Algood SCA steak event in Algood, TN.
