I started cooking in a very small kitchen. At 15 as a dishwasher i would take on every responsibility I could just to learn more. And by the end of my first month I was working side by side with my peers the "chefs" from that point on I've always known what I wanted to do but getting here was a long road. Having to drop out of college when my son was born I had to resort to internships and on the job experience to finish my training. Luckily over the years I have had the opportunity to work under some of the best chefs/cooks in my area allowing me to grow and eventually create as sous chef and then executive chef its been a long road for me and my family we were always playing it safe. Up until 2019 i had never considered pro competitions but with all the local and family support we won our golden ticket as the peoples choice that year at the Texas Super Chef. What an honor that was to represent our area at the WFC! This year we return for a second time as Winner of the 2022 TOA Chupacabra! This is our year! So excited to be a part of FAMILY see you all in Dallas.
