COMPETITION: World Chef Challenge
I started cooking in a very small kitchen. At 15 as a dishwasher i would take on every responsibility I could just to learn more. And by the end of my first month I was working side by side with my peers the "chefs" from that point on I've always known what I wanted to do but getting here was a long road. Having to drop out of college when my son was born I had to resort to internships and on the job experience to finish my training. Luckily over the years I have had the opportunity to work under some of the best chefs/cooks in my area allowing me to grow and eventually create as sous chef and then executive chef its been a long road for me and my family we were always playing it safe. Until this year we had never considered competitions but with all the local and family support we won our golden ticket as the peoples choice. What an honor! This is our year! So excited to be a part of team Texas see you all in Dallas.
