I'm a professional chef and congenital anosmic. Born in Central Texas, raised in Western North Carolina, worked all over the country. Graduated with a culinary degree from AB Tech Community College. Graduated from the School of Hard Knocks by Michael Voltaggio (10 year vet). My 25 year career has taken me from small town steakhouses and pizza joints to high end restaurants, country clubs and hotels to whole animal butchering to starting my own barbecue business to teaching in culinary schools to private cheffing and catering to consulting and developing menus and kitchen teams for other restaurants and breweries. If I'm not working in a kitchen, you'll find me somewhere in the snow, teaching kids how to snowboard.
