COMPETITION: Steak Out People's Choice
Meet Michelle O'Guin, a seasoned food sport competitor for over 16 years who, along with her husband Brandon, ventured into the world of catering. Her culinary journey has taken her across the country, learning from other cooks and diversifying her menu offerings. Michelle and Brandon also run the Judging Program for the annual World Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest at Memphis in May. Juggling the roles of a mother to three, a full-time business owner, and an acclaimed competitor, Michelle expertly balances a hectic schedule without compromising on quality. Her illustrious career boasts numerous top 5 finishes in competitions nationwide, the title of 2021 Word Wing Champion, 3rd Place Fire Woman, and 5th Place Live Fire (with a Perfect Score in the Preliminary Round) at the World Food Championships in 2023.
