HEAD COOK: ROZ KEIMIG
COMPETITION: Bacon World Championship
At the age of 9, my mom taught me how to read a recipe and measure ingredients. In junior high and high school I was took Home Ec classes. My senior year I entered my first cooking contest. After that, I was hooked. Now, thirty something years later, I am just as hooked now as I was back then. I have won some pretty awesome prizes over the years.
My husband of 31 years and my three kids have been the best taste testers ever. They have helped me bake over 4,500 cookies one year for our children's church. They have also put up with my kitchen turned Caramel Apple Factory one year. Throughout the year I help with a couple of children's events, a local charity fundraiser dinner, and a local women's weekend. These events will host anywhere from 100-400 people. It is organized chaos for sure. Crazy good fun.
The World Food Championship would be the cherry on top of the cake with the "infused" buttercream!
