COMPETITION: World Dessert Championship
My name is Tristan Wagner, and I have been in the cooking industry for 10 years now. I began cooking after graduating from Lawrence High School when I enrolled at Johnson County Community College. There I completed an associates degree in food and beverage, a certificate degree in pastry and baking, and also took many of the other cooking classes offered by the college. I have been living in Kansas City where I have worked in pizza parlors, hotels, and country clubs. I am currently the pastry chef at The Fontaine, a Kansas City Hotel. I competed in the Sugar Rush, an event put on by The Pitch which also qualifies you for the World Food Championship. I look forward to meeting people from around the world at the World Food Championship, and talk about our passion of food.
