As a semi-professional caterer and the founder of "Sherri's Catering To Go" food has become my passion. I am actually of English, Irish and French decent, however I married into a very Italian family. In our family whether it's the huge Sunday dinner or The Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve we go the whole nine yards. It had become obvious that I had to learn how to cook. In reality home cooked Italian food is very basic, we use only the freshest ingredients that are packed with powerful earthy flavors. It took years to develop a style of cooking that would stand the test of time in any true Italian household. My recipes have a style that focus on the richest of flavors drawn from the heart of the dish. I have become a master chef in preparing the simplest of peasant dishes from the Hills of Avellino. I am truly honored and excited to have been chosen to prepare my famous pasta recipe for the World Food Championship competition!
