Founder of The Shed BBQ joint. Over 300 awards including world championship at Memphis in May. Father of 4 boys and happily married to a vegetarian ;) My passion is Beer BBQ and Blues I cut my teeth in old Juke Joints in North Mississippi thats where i learned the ropes of all night drinking and cooking and of course how to enjoy Mississippi blues! I have a huge garden every year and love to dig in the dirt and harvest things that have been homegrown and cared for. I started in the business at 14 washing dishes and have held every position in the restaurant . My junior year of college we opened a pizzeria the next year a sushi bar and then finally opened The Shed in 2001.
