Hi, my name's Helene, I'm a 47 year old Home-cook, wife and mother of 3 girls. I was born and raised in Central New Jersey, but I live with my family in rural Magnolia Texas. I consider myself a Kitchen Adventurist, and enjoy experimenting with different ways to add a little "Jersey Style"to my Texas food or a little "Texas kick" to my Jersey food. I blog about my kitchen adventures, my garden and all the fun we have exploring Texas at AJerseyGirlinTexas.blogspot.com I love to enter recipe contests and compete in cooking competitions. I am returning to the WFC for a second year as a top 10 pre-qualifier, having placed 9th last year in The 2013 World Burger Championships. I am excited to see all of the wonderful foodie friends that I met there last year, and also, my long time Just a Pinch friends that inspire me to dream big and encourage me to reach for the stars!
