Sacramento California’s Executive Chef Pedro Depina was forged from the fires in the kitchens of such culinary masters as Paragary’s, Biba’s and Selland’s Family Restaurants. Developing his trade to perfection starting from a young boy in Boston Massachusetts shucking fava beans till his thumbs were numb, working side by side with is father for a purveyor of seafood and learning to build flavors along with his passion for food with his loving mother in their kitchen.
Ettore’s European Bakery and Restaurants own Chef Pedro has been working for over 20 years in the industry and is proud of his path to success. He works intensely to make sure that his approach to the plate is driven by seasonality, fresh and local produce along with a traditional execution in the kitchen. Chef is intimately involved in the Farm To Fork movement in Sacramento cultivating the innovative and creative culinary crusade making headlines. As one of the Board Members on the Sacramento Diners Collective, he revels in working in the community outreach programs and fundraising in Sacramento.
