Damon and Lu Holter are the owners of Croix Valley Foods from River Falls, WI, producers of award-winning sauces, marinades, dry rubs and Bloody Mary Seasonings.
As a food entrepreneur and former restaurant owner and manager, Damon has worked in the food industry for the past 16 years. In addition to Damon's culinary expertise, he is also an award-winning wildlife artist, a World Record-holding fisherman, an expert musician and he conducts cooking demonstrations at events and on local television programs throughout the Midwest.
Lu's experience with the charcoal grill and wood-fired smoker round out the team with an eye for creativity and thinking outside the box when it comes to unique culinary creations and novel use of ingredients. Directed by pure instinct and fine skills in execution, Lu's ability to work under pressure and get the job done under any circumstance has contributed to Croix Valley's successes.
Passionate about barbecue and other culinary delights, this husband and wife team regularly compete in KCBS tournaments as well as cater events and festivals with their award-winning foods.
