COMPETITION: World Vegetarian Championship
Sumeet Saigal is a MasterChef Australia Season 16 Top 8 contestant, Coles Sauce Challenge winner, World Food Championships Australia 2024 (Vegetarian) champion, and 2024 WFC global finalist known for her grit and calm in the competition environment. Trained at India’s premier hotel school WGSHA, with an MBA from Western Sydney University and Negotiation Mastery from Harvard Business School Online, she has cooked in Sheraton kitchens in India and tackled high-stakes challenges alongside Jamie Oliver and Michelin-starred chefs Curtis Stone and Jean-Christophe Novelli during MasterChef S16. Guided by the motto “get the job done,” Sumeet is honoured to represent Australia in the Vegetarian category at the World Food Championships in Indianapolis—and is determined to bring home the title.
