I began my competitive BBQ journey in 2022 with the goal of learning the craft from the ground up—judging, competing, and helping build the BBQ community in the Pacific Northwest. Since then, I’ve earned multiple grand championships, top-10 finishes across KCBS and PNWBA events, and two perfect scores. Beyond competitions, I’ve organized and supported backyard contests that introduced dozens of new teams to the sport, while also cooking for causes close to my heart, from veterans to the special needs community. My style blends technique with heart—fueled by family, mentorship, and a drive to keep improving with every cook.
