I am a Born, bred and corn-fed Tennessee native, I relocated to Alabama in 2022. My love for cooking runs deep. Growing up, we didn't have much, so I learned at a young age to create delicious and filling meals at a low cost. A practice I still utilize in my everyday life and in my career. My cooking style is blend Southern-inspired cuisine with fresh, high-quality, and local ingredients. I love to emphasize on presentation, creating visually appealing dishes that enhance the dining experience . I truly believe you eat with your eyes first. My dishes often feature creative twists, reflecting my culinary journey and experiences.I've been in the industry since 1999, one thing I've learned, is you must remain a student. This field is ever changing and growing , there is always something new to learn. I truly believe the one thing you cannot teach is passion. You must come equipped with it to succeed. The money made as an Executive chef pays my bills, my actual payment is the reaction of all who enjoy my food. I love to watch the way people react upon that first bite, that is payment enough. The sky isn't the limit for me,I'm trying to leave footprints on the moon. This will be my first time having the pleasure of being a part of this event and I am truly looking forward to it. I'm excited to work with, meet and assist amazing Chefs from around the world. Participating in this cook-off will give me a chance to showcase my talent and my passion.
