Cooking has always been part of my story, and it all started in my grandmother’s kitchen. Some of my earliest and best memories are sitting up on the counter next to her, learning how to stir, season, and taste. She didn’t just teach me recipes, she taught me the love behind them. Whether it was frying chicken, baking pies, or throwing together something simple from whatever was in the pantry, cooking with my grandmother wasn’t about perfection, it was about connection. Those moments sparked a lifelong passion for food, family, and flavor. And now, every time I step behind a grill, fire up a smoker, compete in a competition, or mix a new batch of seasoning, I carry her lessons with me. It’s more than just cooking, it’s about keeping traditions alive, creating new memories, and feeding people from the heart.
