HEAD COOK: Acie Vincent

COMPETITION: World Sandwich Championship

Acie Vincent is a culinary innovator and passionate food enthusiast with a remarkable career that bridges cooking, art, and family. Born and raised in the Piedmont area of North Carolina, Acie has always believed that the kitchen is the heart of the home—a sentiment that has shaped both his personal and professional life. Before finding his calling in the culinary world, Acie pursued a career in academia as a professor of graphic design, digital media, and entertainment business. However, in 2012, he made the bold decision to shift gears and enter the world of professional food competitions. Since then, he has amassed an impressive array of accolades, including being crowned the World Sandwich Champion in both 2017 and 2021. His journey through these prestigious competitions has solidified his place among the best in the culinary field. Acie’s deep passion for food extends beyond just cooking; it’s a way to connect with others and pass on valuable skills and traditions. As a grandparent, he is committed to sharing these passions with the next generation. Through his role as a Sam's Club Super Chef, he is able to impart his knowledge and love for cooking to others, teaching them the importance of creating and sharing meals with loved ones. Whether in the kitchen, the classroom, or with his family, Acie Vincent’s mission remains the same: to inspire, educate, and create meaningful connections through food.
