Alejandro Barrientos is the Co-Owner and Executive Chef of Curb Side Bistro. He is a true hometown success story and an embodiment of hard work, entrepreneurial spirit, and giving back to the community. Alejandro’s path began at Odessa College, where he received his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. While many graduates of the program take their newfound culinary services to larger markets with big city opportunities, Alejandro decided to stay local and give back to the community that helped raise him. Alejandro’s impact in our community is growing, just as our community itself is. What began as a single food truck operation, Curb Side Bistro’s portfolio has grown to include an additional food truck and a brick and mortar restaurant in Odessa and Midland, Texas. Alejandro has won numerous awards and honors, both state and nationwide including a Blended Burger competition by the James Beard Foundation. His latest big Win was on Food Network’s Chopped episode, “Fry of the Beholder”. Throughout each of these adventures, Chef Alejandro remains grateful and passionate in growing and expanding in this industry.
