Originally, from Charlotte, NC, Jacob has called Denver, CO his home for the past 7 years. He started his culinary background working in catering. After Covid shutdown both his catering gigs he bought his first smoker and started getting into BBQ. Now the GM of Proud Souls BBQ in Denver, he gets to talk BBQ with his retail customers everyday while teaching classes and traveling for BBQ Competitions.
