COMPETITION: World Rice Championship
Dina Macki is a British Omani Chef, F&B Consultant and Author of Bahari - Recipes from an Omani Kitchen and Beyond. She is began her culinary journey in pursuit of better understanding who she was and what it meant to be to from Oman and Zanzibar - the two places her family calls home. Through discovering her heritage she became fascinated by how food connects us and makes up our identity. This has now led to her career across the F&B space, where she travels around the world to share her cuisine with others, writes for international publications, consults for hotels and restaurants in the Middle East and works with brands to develop recipes that showcase the best of both her worlds.
