Born and raised in El Salvador, I grew up surrounded by farming, butchery, and ranching on my father’s side, and culinary artistry and business on my mother’s. This blend of traditions sparked my passion for food and craftsmanship early on. As a first-generation college graduate, I’ve honed my skills working in prestigious kitchens like Four Seasons Hotel and Resorts, Ritz-Carlton, Lyla, and now Joey Dallas. Over the last five years, I’ve competed in culinary competitions including FCCLA, SkillsUSA, and the Baylor Scott & White Chef Cookoff. I’ve also showcased my talents on the world stage, competing in a seafood competition at the World Food Championships, and earning 1st place in last year’s charcuterie competition. Teaching and inspiring others is a key part of my journey. I share my passion for the culinary arts with students and food enthusiasts through cooking classes and chef demonstrations at the Dallas Arboretum. My story blends tradition, innovation, and an unwavering dedication to the craft.
