HEAD COOK: David Eaheart
COMPETITION: World Dessert Championship
David is the 2019 American Pie Championships Professional Division Champion and Top 10 Finalist in the 2019 World Food Championships (WFC) Dessert Category. In 2020, he took second place in the WFC Holiday Sweets Virtual Contest and in 2022 3rd in the WFC Best of the Fest. Although classically trained in culinary arts, he considers himself a hobby baker with a deep fondness for pie, bacon and barbecue. During the week, he can be found marketing pork products and promoting the values and importance of modern production agriculture to consumers as the senior director of communications and brand marketing for the largest American-owned pork production company. Because of his professional career, he has had the privilege to work in the kitchens of renowned chefs throughout the country. When not competing, he’s dreaming up delicious pork dishes, baking pies with bacon, serving as a certified food judge or going back to his family's farm in central Missouri. He resides in Kansas City, Mo.
