I come from a small town in the mountains of Southeast Idaho. I'm a finance professional by day and a backyard BBQ hero most of the rest of the time. Although I've cooked occasionally for a good portion of my life, the crazy year that was 2020 allowed me to spend more time refining my skills and gave birth to the moniker "Smokin' Idahoan." Wild game and Wagyu beef from a local ranch are my favorite cooks, and I like inventing unique sides to accompany dishes.
