A tough Japanese cookie who moved all the way from Japan to marry to my American husband 9 years ago. I am a housewife, no culinary education and experience but has strong passion about cooking and enjoy to cook/experiment in my kitchen everyday. As a being Japanese, I almost always add my country's/ mother's flavor to any kind of dishes which turn into unique or new yet so flavorful delicious dishes and I believe this is my advantage. I compete lots of recipe contests. I am very competitive and love challenge because it motivates me a lot and make my life exciting and adventurous. I lost both of my parents, 3 years ago, my father and last year my mother, but I keep motivating myself by doing what I love which is cooking. I compete for my parents to make them happy and be proud of me competing against many talented home cooks and professional chef, not just prize.
