COMPETITION: World Sandwich Championship
I am a self taught home cook that loves to spend time dabbling in the kitchen. I started canning my own jams and jellies in 1996 and just began to expand from there. I began competing at local and State Fairs and branched out to some National Contests for both sweet and savory. I have won numerous ribbons and awards at local and State Fairs along with some National contests. I have competed at the WFC for 9 years with my husband by my side. For the past 4 years my daughter Darby, 15 has been my second Sous Chef and has been invaluable to me. Rowen, 14, made his debut as my second sous chef and is really excited to have another go! With the support and assistance of my family, we finished in 7th place in 2017 and were the Grand Reserve Champions in 2018 and 2021. We are looking forward to Dallas in 2022!!
