COMPETITION: World Seafood Championship

Proud Winner of the 2019 Georgia Seafood Festival Competition. My name is Scottie Johnson and I am a Private Chef/Author of "See Your Route and Run It" in Warner Robins, Georgia.  I was born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina but became a resident of the great Middle Georgia area by way of the United States Army.  In the Army I served as a 13B cannon crewmemeber of the Field Artillery division.  I was assigned to the Fort Valley State University’s ROTC program as the Senior Military Instructor.  After 24 years of great service, I decided to retire and explore my passion of cooking.  I enrolled in Helms College Culinary Arts School in Macon, GA.  It was there where my love for cooking and knowledge of the food industry broadened and I became more intrigued.  I accomplished the art of preparing, cooking, and presenting delectable meals.  Since then I have enjoyed creating various dishes and putting my own unique modifications to traditional dishes. I love cooking with a passion and I've been blessed by God with this gift of cooking and I’m excited to share this gift with others.  I  also believe you must have a VISION in life because without one, you will never move forward!   Upon graduating from Culinary Arts School at the top of my class, I was offered a position as a Chef Instructor Assistant at Helms College.  I assisted in teaching multiple classes such as Knife Skill, Cooking Methods and Fabrications and Restaurant Operations in Helms College very own Edgars Bistro.  While working at the college I also started my own Private Chef business, “Blessed and Highly Flavored Cuisine, LLC”.  My business offers all the perks of elegant fine dining in the comfort of your own home.  The thought of making reservations, waiting for seating and being juggled between tables frustrated me so that I decided to bring all the benefits of fine dining to your home.  This way customers can enjoy and experience a delicious, intimate meal created with only them in mind.  My cuisine reflect traditional southern dishes mixed with cajun flavors and inspired with gourmet twists. I LOVE what I do!!!
